Defensive dominance and determination and too much size, not things the Raptors are generally known for, carried them to another solid victory on Tuesday night.
With Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes and O.G. Anunoby chewing up smaller defenders and a teamwide defensive effort that bent at times but was brilliant at others, the Raptors beat the Miami Heat 106-92 at Scotiabank Arena to climb back to the .500 level for the first time since Dec. 9.
Now 38-38 on the season and winners of three in a row, the Raptors maintained their spot in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with just six games left in the regular season.
