We’ve discussed before how the Toronto Raptors’ roster is unbalanced. The team has 14 players under contract. Of those, six are swingmen, two of whom (Malachi Richardson and Lorenzo Brown) are unlikely to see much floor time. Most of the minutes will be gobbled up by Kawhi Leonard, OG Anunoby and Danny Green. Norman Powell – who knows?
The team is settled at the point guard position, where Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet and Delon Wright will run the show.
That leaves a threadbare frontcourt of Pascal Siakam, Serge Ibaka, and Jonas Valanciunas. The Raptors are putting several free-agent big men through trials.
