Raptors’ Masai Ujiri set for another Giants summer

Raptors president Masai Ujiri spens his Augusts trying to develop young Africans "as athletes and good citizens."

On the day of Nelson Mandela’s birth and wearing a T-shirt under his sports coat commemorating his Giants of Africa foundation, Raptors president Masai Ujiri moved on to his next love: Promoting basketball on his native continent of Africa and paying homage to the great South African leader.

Ujiri will host a series of six camps for kids in August — in Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Senegal — as he continues his tradition of using the late summer to develop young players throughout Africa.
