Sidelined with a shoulder injury last month, many had feared that Delon Wright would not return this season. Wright had different plans. He took the time to recover, got back into the gym and never looked back.
While he is not putting up All-Star numbers (8.9 PPG, 2.8RPG, 2.5APG) Wright has been consistent. He’s shooting 51.3% from the field in roughly 20 minutes per NBA.com, but more importantly, he is opening the game up for the Toronto Raptors.
He reads players well and knows when to utilize his size when being guarded by smaller defenders.
