Raptors lose Powell for ‘weeks’ with dislocated left shoulder

Raptors guard Norman Powell is out indefinitely with a partial dislocation of his left shoulder joint, suffered in the second quarter of Monday’s win over the Utah Jazz.

Powell is averaging five points, two rebounds and 14.9 minutes in 11 games this season.

While there was no timetable for his return, Raptors coach Nick Nurse told reporters before Wednesday night’s game against the Kings in Sacramento that he expected Powell to miss “weeks.”
