Raptors lose DeMarre Carroll, Lucas Nogueira to injury

Trying to snap a two-game home losing streak, they faced the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night without starting small forward DeMarre Carroll and backup centre Lucas Nogueira.

The team said Carroll is out “indefinitely” with a right knee contusion and that Nogueira is on the shelf with a sprained left ankle.

There was no word on when the injuries occurred. Carroll played only 26 minutes Saturday against Golden State while Nogueira was on the Air Canada Centre court about 90 minutes before tip off against the Lakers trying to work through his injury.

Carroll missed three games in early November because of ankle pain and had averaged 12.
