Another Zach Lowe post, this time on the polarizing topic of team logos, caught my attention. Loyal readers know I was profoundly unimpressed when the team announced its rebranding. Zach has taken a lot of time and energy to offer his thoughts, and I decided I’d weigh in as well.

Zach lists the Raptors logo as the NBA’s eighth-best. I was flabbergasted, and decided one of us is crazy (and it’s not me). He likes the fact there’s no dinosaur/raptor image; instead there are just the claw marks across the basketball to remind us of the franchise’s namesake.
