Nick Nurse is a complex NBA head coach in many ways.
He’s more than willing to experiment and demand and be creative and he’s certainly not locked into some idea of a “regular rotation” because the roster he’s presented with each night changes each night, as it does for every coach in the league these days.
He coaches often as much by feel as by script and that’s laudable because every game is unique, matchups become advantageous or disastrous and moving on in real time is a gift that very good coaches have.
