This version of the Raptors is a group that likes each other, plays for each other, hasn’t blown apart with infighting and finger-pointing that often goes hand-in-hand with disappointing seasons.
It’s been an interesting study in team dynamics and when Fred VanVleet was asked point blank Wednesday night — in the wake of a truly odd and gut-wrenching loss — why no one’s lost his mind, he made valid points.
“That’s fair,” he said. “With myself and Pascal having been through a lot in a short amount of time in seven years, (it’s) understanding the situation that we’re all in, it’s one of those things where it’s not really one person’s fault.
