It was not a Kyle Lowry game Wednesday night. He was fine, and he figured out what worked, and in the end, it was his Raptors teammates who took control. And that was OK.
Because Lowry has had plenty of Kyle games this season. He carried the team for a month through some injuries, shouldering the scoring load along with his truckload of little plays, detail things, big-brain instincts. He’s second in the league in charges taken, sure, but do did you know he already has two fewer 20-point games, 18, than he had all of last season, including playoffs?
