The Raptors are about to embark on arguably their most difficult road trip of the season. Seven games in 12 nights, almost all against formidable Western Conference opponents, where nothing will come easy.
If there’s anything left to salvage from what has been a disappointing Raptors year, it will have to be discovered over these next two weeks. Any longer and it will be too late because by the time they return home to face the San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 8, the trade deadline will be 24 hours away.
The 11th-place Raptors almost certainly won’t be buyers, but the extent to which they become sellers might somewhat depend on this upcoming stretch.
