SALT LAKE CITYThe grind of an NBA season is real and it takes an immense physical toll on the players who do much of the heavy lifting.
Every night the collisions come and the hits are taken and given out and it’s hard to make the body and the mind take the punishment game after game after game.
But the good ones must and the Raptors must do more of it.
“We need to be a lot more physical,” Fred VanVleet said before Wednesday’s game against the Utah Jazz, the fifth stop on the Raptors’ seven-game road trip.
