The Toronto Raptors have ended their monk-like silence with a press release, naming players who were invited to a min-camp yesterday and today. The “camp”, or extended try-out, is closed, so we can’t offer you any insights as to who is playing well. Instead let’s focus on a few interesting participants.
For me, and those of you who have been wondering as well, seeing DeAndre Daniels’ name is a pleasant relief. Last year’s second-round draft pick spent a season in the Australian League, but presumably wants a chance to strut his stuff in front of the big brass.
