Raptors fall in Motor City, Casey’s Pistons sweep season series

Just over a minute from the final buzzer, the Raptors worked to set up their offence on Detroit’s end of the court, trying to narrow the Pistons’ already slim lead and earn their first win of the season over old coach Dwane Casey’s new team.

When Fred VanVleet floated a pass toward Kawhi Leonard in the high post, Detroit’s Andre Drummond broke on the ball like a cornerback, making the steal and the layup and helping send the Pistons to a 110-107 win.
