The Raptors did a good job of bottling up DeMar DeRozan in Sunday’s opener of a home-and-home with a series of double teams and defensive traps that limited him to just nine field-goal attempts, tying the fewest he’d had in a game to that point. It was effective much of the game because DeRozan was missing his explosive scoring teammate, Zach LaVine, who sat out for injury recovery after summer knee surgery.
