Chris Boucher will be out of the Toronto Raptors lineup Friday with a hamstring injury, a disappointing turn of events for the Montreal forward ahead of the exhibition game in his hometown against the Boston Celtics.
The Raptors hope Boucher will be back in time for the season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 19 at Scotiabank Arena.
Otto Porter Jr. will also be out for Friday’s pre-season game with a hamstring injury. The current goal for Porter, the Raptors’ biggest free agent signing in the summer, is for the six-foot-eight wing to be available for the start of the season.
