HOUSTON—The Raptors can finally see the finish line of one of their longest road trips in recent memory.
Their epic seven-game, 13-day western swing wraps up Sunday in Memphis, and it’s safe to say nobody will be sad to be homeward bound. Even before Friday night’s 117-111 win here against the Rockets, Raptors leading scorer Pascal Siakam acknowledged that his legs, Olympian quality though they may be, have been feeling the effects of the high-mileage tour, the team’s first seven-game roadie since 2007.
“Yeah, it’s hard,” Siakam said of the trip, “but it is what it is.
