CLEVELAND—Rex Kalamian’s talents have caught the eye of the Houston Rockets.
The Raptors assistant was interviewed by Rockets owner Leslie Alexander and general manager Daryl Morey here Thursday afternoon, league sources confirm.

Kalamian is in his first year on coach Dwane Casey’s Toronto staff, having spent the six previous seasons on the staff of Scott Brooks in Oklahoma City.
With the Raptors in the Eastern Conference final, Kalamian has now coached in four conference finals in the last six years.
He also worked for Casey in Minnesota in 2005-07 and has been an NBA assistant or scout since 1992.
