NEW YORK—The Raptors have done it before and there’s no reason that finding and developing consistency in another young player cannot be done again.
They have proved it possible this season with Norm Powell, finding ways to turn the promising swingman into someone who used to be good for a game or two out of five into someone who be counted on to have a vast majority of very good games.
They did it with Pascal Siakam, turning the now NBA all-star into an upper-echelon player rather than a talent who would cycle through a good game, an average game, a bad game, a good game, an average game, a bad game.
