Earlier today the four new teams set to join the G-League next season held their expansion draft. The new franchises making the picks were the Erie BayHawks, Wisconsin Herd, Memphis Hustle and the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. [Ed. note: what a name!]
The rules of the expansion draft were as follows: There were 11 rounds total, with no more than two players may be selected for each team . The selected players’ rights will be retained for two seasons (2017-18 and 2018-19). Also, the protected and unprotected list where not revealed so no one really knows which players each team was keen on keeping.
