The Raptors 905 made a couple of moves today to try and improve their roster. As first reported by (who else?) Blake Murphy, the 905 have decided to waive Canadian power forward Richard Amardi. This is being done, as reported Sunday night by (who else?) Chris Reichert), to clear the way for Fuquan Edwin, who left his Finnish team to enter the G League player pool.
Edwin is a defense-first player who attended Seton Hall and led the NCAA in steals in his sophomore year. If coach Jerry Stackhouse is looking for help on the defensive end, adding Edwin will be huge for the 905.
