Brady Heslip will get the chance to continue to pursue his NBA dream from Mississauga.
The 26-year-old, six-foot-two guard from Burlington is now tied to Raptors 905, after the NBA D-League team acquired his rights on Thursday from the Reno Bighorns in exchange for the rights to forward Ronald Roberts.
What could make the deal more enticing for Heslip, who in the past has said that he didn’t fully enjoy his original stint in the league two years ago, is that the Toronto Raptors are expected to sign him to a partially guaranteed deal on Friday. Yahoo was the first to report that news.
