At full strength the New York Knicks did not have enough talent to handle the Toronto Raptors. When accounting for the fact the Raptors were missing their two top scorers, they had essentially no chance.
After factoring injuries, and two recent deadline deals, the Knicks were essentially down to a G-League team. At one point in the game the Knicks were playing three players who had spent time with the Westchester Knicks.
This allowed the Raptors to take a first-half lead even when they were not playing their best. Once the Raptors started playing to the level that they are capable of, they shut the door.
