The Raptors aren’t likely to make a big splash in NBA free agency because they like the core group of Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes, Gary Trent Jr., OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa and they don’t have a lot of money to throw around — roughly $10.4 million with the mid-level exception.
Still, they need to augment the roster and the futures of their own free agents — Chris Boucher and Thaddeus Young — might impact how they approach the market starting Thursday.
