It’s odd to say after a nine-point win against the toothless Washington Wizards, but for stretches of Wednesday night’s pre-all-star break finale, the Toronto Raptors looked the best they have all season.
It wasn’t always pretty. The Wizards were even up by 12 early in the third quarter. However, at times, Toronto looked unbeatable.
Early on it was all Toronto Raptors. They started with a quick 12-2 run in the opening four minutes, Pascal Siakam leading the way as he did all night. But the Wizards battled back. By the end of the quarter, the lead shrunk to four.
