NEW ORLEANS -- Anthony Davis suffered a left wrist contusion in the first half of the Pelicans' 94-87 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night and did not return.
Davis collided with Raptors guard Norman Powell in midair on an alley-oop attempt with 6.7 second left in the second quarter and appeared to hit his wrist on the rim before falling hard to the ground.
He stayed in the game to take the two free throw attempts allotted for the called foul but did not return after halftime and was ruled out for the game at the start of the fourth quarter.
