The Toronto Raptors have had a few near-misses in their NBA Draft history, and Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George just added yet another one to the list on his podcast.
On one of the latest episodes of his “Podcast P” show, George reveals that the Raptors were looking to select him with the 13th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. George was ultimately drafted earlier at No. 10 overall, just ahead of the Raptors, by the Indiana Pacers.
In 2010, the Toronto Raptors had just finished a 40-42 season with their promising rookie DeMar DeRozan.
