Parity coming into focus in the NBA

There are super-teams and superstars and — as former Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey used to call them, “super-duper stars” — but the NBA is creeping far closer to parity, up and down the standings.

This is because of a combination of events and circumstances and, at its heart, more talent than ever before.
