CHARLOTTE, N.C.—O.G. Anunoby sat in the front row of the courtside seats at the Spectrum Center here Monday, watching a spirited post-practice game unfold in front of him.
He had taken the day off as a precautionary move after slightly spraining an ankle on Sunday against the Hornets and no one was worried about his absence.
The Raptors don’t need him in some end-of-the-season workout. They need him for important end-of-the-season games because, as teammate Fred VanVleet said “O.G. has been on a burner with the three-pointer.”
