With the FIBA Americas Championshop coming to an end, multiple ballers have been recognized for their performances throughout the contest. Two of these players, Cory Joseph and Luis Scola, signed with the Toronto Raptors this summer.
Both Joseph, playing for Canada, and Scola, playing for Argentina, showcased their basketball skills throughout the group stage of the tournament and into the playoffs.
Joseph, aided by teammates Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett, propelled Team Canada to a spectacular 7-1 record during the group stage. Ultimately, Canada was eliminated by a 78-79 loss to Venezuela in the semi-finals. The 6-3 guard recorded a team-high average of 5.
