This past weekend saw the release of Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire, a small movie with some recognizable faces set entirely in a derelict warehouse in Boston in the 1970s. It’s about an arms deal gone wrong, and spends most of its run time with this ramshackle rogues gallery as they turn on each other, guns blazing. Ultimately, the film involves a lot of gunshots that miss.
There’s a metaphor to employ here as we consider Game 5 of Raptors vs. Bucks.
Heading into the playoffs, the Raptors had reason for optimism.
