Most in Toronto had high hopes that this year in Raptor-land would be different. The team would charge into the playoffs, reunited with their engine Kyle Lowry, and dominate a flighty (yet promising), young Milwaukee Bucks team. Sure Giannis Antetokounmpo is an all-world talent, but most had it going six games. Tops.
Well, after another Game 1 defeat (which I promise to stop bringing up, I swear), the Raptors have been tossed into a maelstrom of doubt and angst once again. It’s a familiar feeling.
Since we asked before Game 1 (last time, promise), who you thought would win — Raptors or Bucks — we’ll go again here.
