Superstars are defined by their consistency being great. The Milwaukee Bucks’ two-time NBA MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo, has done that with aplomb while maintaining an indelible air of humility.
And Antetokounmpo’s connection to basketball fans has transcended past the sport, not just in his NBA city but for Greek fans in Toronto.
“He has shown consistency in his character and his loyalty to his team and, first and foremost, his family and his city and his country. He played for Greece in the European championships in the summer,” Toronto physician Frank Karantonis said, before Antetokounmpo set a career high with 55 points in the Bucks’ 123-113 win over Washington on Tuesday.
