They did a little bit of shuffling at Raptors headquarters on Tuesday.
Jesse Murmuys, who has spent two years as an assistant to head coach Dwane Casey, is the first head coach of the franchise’s D-League team while Toronto director of player personnel Dan Tolzman is the inaugural general manager of Raptors 905.
Murmuys, who will also be the team’s assistant general manager, had stops in Houston and Denver — where he worked with then-Nuggets general manager Masai Ujiri — before joining Casey’s staff. He was the head coach of Toronto’s Summer League team last year and will have that job again starting Friday, joining co-head coach Jama Mahlalela.
