Wise old owl that he is, Kyle Lowry knows to take everything going on the NBA with a grain of salt. Team records, individual performances, places in the standings. They don’t mean s lot.
“If you’re concerned about your individual stats and your game right now, you shouldn’t be,” Lowry said after the Miami Heat’s game-day shootaround at the Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday. “It’s also 14 games in. When you get to 50 games, you start to say ‘OK, this is what it is.’ ”
Lowry’s attitude played well when he and the Heat got off to a sluggish start, going 2-6 while Lowry scuffled with his shot and his game.
