Khem Birch is certainly not a forgotten man in the fight for front-court minutes with the Raptors, he’s proven veteran with all the intangibles that keep teams going.
He sets a mean screen to free up teammates, he can punish teams on the offensive glass and the 30-year-old has anchored many a defence over the years as the last guy in front of the rim.
But even he knows that coming back from an injury-decimated 2021-22 season and a summer spent rehabbing after minor knee surgery to clear out some debris leaves him with some work to do.
