When the Raptors host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday evening, Stan Kuliavas won’t be cheering for Toronto.
Though he has supported the Raptors through the years, the head of the Canadian-Lithuanian Sports Federation will be a Pelicans fan this time. Last season, it was the Memphis Grizzlies.
Whatever jersey former Raptors big man Jonas Valanciunas is wearing, Kuliavas will root for.
One week after the return of Serge Ibaka with the Los Angeles Clippers at a near-empty Scotiabank Arena, the Raptors will face Valanciunas in Toronto for the first time since he was traded to Memphis at the 2019 deadline.
