Injuries happen, and every team in the NBA has to deal with them. The Toronto Raptors are getting a first-hand look early into this campaign. DeMarre Carroll and Terrence Ross are both out for the team above the 49th parallel. Carroll is out with plantar fasciitis and is listed as day to day. Ross doesn’t even know how he hurt his thumb, but it could be serious. The former dunk champ was diagnosed with a ligament injury, and his return date is up in the air.
Toronto had lost three straight before last night’s blowout of Philly, and now sit at 6-3.
