The Raptors turned in a night of historic ineptitude in Charlotte on Saturday.
In what was one of their most dispirited performances of the season, the Raptors were hammered 114-104 by the Charlotte Hornets, who blistered Toronto with an all-time shooting performance from three-point range.
The Hornets had 11 three-pointers in the first quarter, tying an NBA record, and they had 16 in the first half, the most by a Charlotte team and the most given up by the Raptors in a half. Charlotte ended the night with 21 three-pointers; the most Raptors have given up in a game is 22.
