The Raptors just finished with their second-worst regular-season record in a decade but they still have a chance to advance to the playoffs this week.
Toronto ended the NBA regular season Sunday at .500 with a 41-41 mark, their second-worst record since 2012-13 when they were 34-48 while Andrea Bargnani and Rudy Gay were still on the team.
The only time the Raptors were worse was in the “Tampa tank” season (27-45) in 2020-21 when they played all of their home games in Florida because of the pandemic.
But the Raptors can still make it to the playoffs through the relatively new play-in tournament which started two seasons ago as the NBA tried to give more teams a chance to make the post-season and increase excitement across the league.
