Growth of the Raptors’ Kyle Lowry has come three points at a time

Point guard has turned himself into an elite, long-range shooter.

Raptors guard Kyle Lowry has made 215 three-pointers this season, breaking his own franchise record of 212 set two years ago.

As he continues to distance himself from the pack as the best three-point shooter in Toronto Raptors history, Kyle Lowry marvels at how far he, and the game, has come.

He takes more and he makes more. He has turned himself into a truly elite long-distance shooter in the second half of his career.

“I’ve always believed in what I can do, I felt like I could score the ball,” he said after setting a new Raptors standard in Friday’s 116-112 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
