Game Centre: Hawks’ Vince Carter breaks 25,000-point milestone, but Raptors get the win

There were about three minutes to go in the third quarter of the Toronto Raptors’ 124-108 win over the Atlanta Hawks when Kyle Lowry nabbed his 10th rebound to earn his 13th career triple-double.

The Raptors’ leader finished with 21 points, 17 assists and 13 rebounds on a red-hot night against the 3-14 Hawks, playing a team-high 31 minutes on the second night of a back-to-back. That included an appearance in the fourth quarter, when an elbow to the face gave him a bloody nose but didn’t force Lowry, who was plus-28 on the night, from the court.
