The Raptors will have their leader ready for Game 1 of their playoff series with the Boston Celtics later today.
Kyle Lowry, who suffered a sprained left ankle a week ago in a first-round game against the Brooklyn Nets has been cleared to play in the 1 p.m. game.
The Raptors will still be without Pat McCaw and Oshae Brissett, both out of with knee injuries, and the Celtics won’t have Gordon Hayward because of a bad ankle but Lowry was the most significant injury either team was dealing with.
Having him available puts everything in its place for the Raptors.
