With the Toronto Raptors about to kick off the NBA final, and this country jumping onto the Dinos bandwagon with both feet, let’s also remember that for all the joy out there in Hogtown, there will also be haters drinking haterade and spewing it forth on the airwaves and social media.
The Raptors’ post-season run has been magic around these parts, but down south, it has already provided plenty of fuel for the American sports media machine, which runs on equal parts outrage, vitriol and volume — i.e., who can yell the loudest to prove their point.
