PORTLAND, Ore. – A big lead had vanished and the Raptors were hanging on for dear life.
It was the second night of a back-to-back, in a tough road environment, against an opponent with one of the best closers in the business.
The task facing the Raptors here Saturday night was formidable.
And they answered.
A tremendous fourth quarter, with Fred VanVleet making a series of winning plays, led Toronto to an impressive 123-105 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers before a boisterous group of Canadian fans at the Moda Center.
