As if the Raptors injury list isn’t long enough, Fred VanVleet is listed as doubtful heading into Tuesday night’s home game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
VanVleet exited Saturday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets with just over two minutes to play, heading straight down the tunnel and into the visitors’ dressing room.
Coach Nick Nurse told reporters in New York following the game that he thought VanVleet was OK and got out of the game just in time after feeling some tightness in his hamstring muscle, hopeful that the guard hadn’t overexerted himself.
By Monday’s practice, VanVleet was in treatment with his availability against Damian Lillard, Carmelo Anthony and the Trail Blazers up in the air.
