The mechanics of the G League can make it hard to gain in-season momentum. With many teams’ best players flipping up and down between their NBA affiliate and the G League, it can be hard to predict your roster and its output on any given night.
Last week, the 905 struggled a bit with this, as the Raptors went on a road trip with injuries that demanded some minutes from Chris Boucher and Jordan Loyd. The result was a little madcap, as point guard Kay Felder took a whole ton of shots and none of the other Toronto players settled into any consistent play.
