DeRozan an all-star example for young players, Raptors coach says

Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan became an all-star starter through hard work, according to coach Dwane Casey. "He's made himself into the player he is today," Casey said.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—It’s been an eventful week for the most powerful country on earth. Monday was Martin Luther King Day; on Friday, Donald Trump was inaugurated as America’s 45th president. In between those events, in the far less important sandbox of pro sports, Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was named a starter for the East squad at the all-star game next month in New Orleans.
