DeMar DeRozan for MVP? Former Raptor’s explosive fourth quarter against Lakers sparks chatter

Demar DeRozan has ice in his veins.

With his team trailing the Lakers by a single point with less than a minute in the fourth quarter, the Bulls star drained a mid-range jumper over LeBron James, paving the way to a 115-110 victory at the United Center on Sunday night.

DeRozan finished the game with 38 points — 19 of which he scored in the fourth quarter.

The 32-year-old shooting guard, who played nine stellar seasons with the Toronto Raptors before moving to San Antonio in the Kawhi Leonard trade, has found his stride as a key member of the Chicago Bulls, a team sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference with an 18-10 record.
