While the campaign continues to get DeMar DeRozan into the NBA All-Star game, the Raptors star got some other good news today. It was announced that DeRozan is among the finalists for a spot on Team USA's 2016 Olympic squad.

DeRozan is but one among 29 other names, but it's a nice acknowledgement that he is indisputably one of the best players in the league right now (if not the world). He's never played in the Olympics before, though he did get some run with the gold medal winning USA team in the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
